seed drying in the 1830 era

we had to scarf join the beams as they were a bit too short...
a close look here shows what was a pulley system.... with hooks at the opposite end of the beams... Roy Dingwell told me it was for a hammock type of apparatus for drying seeds.. amazing when you think it would have been over an open fire in the Dingwell kitchen
